2nd Annual Cider Salon

After last year’s rousing event, Jimmy’s No. 43 is bringing back A Cider Salon as part of our programming for Cider Week NYC. The salon will feature several cider makers, apple tastings, samplings and more teachings on  everyone’s favorite fall beverage: real cider!

We will be joined by Gidon Coll of Original Sin Cider who will be bringing diverse heritage apples for tasting.  Learn about red fleshed apples, crabapples and their extraordinary histories. As a very special treat there will be an opportunity to taste single source ciders made with some of these apples.

We will be also be joined by Ryan Burk of Angry Orchards experimental orchard  Cidery.  Ryan is also focusing on ciders made with heritage cider apples grown in NY State.  They are gradually modifying their orchards to include more cider apples. He is crafting small batch ciders focusing on wild fermentation at cool temperatures and barrel aging.

Tickets $15
