An Emmy, Grammy, SAG Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and People’s Choice Award winner, renowned actor, director, writer, singer and dancer, and icon Dick Van Dyke has entertained audiences for seven decades.
Beginning with the smash Bye Bye Birdie, his film career includes starring roles in the classics Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and his television career includes the beloved “Dick Van Dyke Show” as well as the long running “Diagnosis Murder.” In conversation with entertainment journalist and film professor Eddy Friedfeld, Dick will recall his magnificent and storied career.
On this night Dick will be the recipient of 92Y’s first Lifetime Achievement Award for Bettering Humanity through Comedy.
