This illustrated lecture attempts to document some of what has recently been discovered about ancient Nubia, with its remarkable history, architecture, and culture, and thereby to give the audience a picture of this rich, but unfamiliar, African legacy.
With Chester Higgins Jr., a staff photographer for The New York Times since 1975 and a cultural anthropologist with a camera, who has exhibited in museums throughout the world.
