Artist Event: Elisa Jensen and Ruth Miller in Conversation with William Bailey

Brooklyn-based artist Elisa Jensen and Connecticut-based artist Ruth Miller speak about their upcoming exhibition at the New York Studio School, opening March 6. The artists will also discuss the solo exhibition of William Bailey’s work.

Recent exhibitions of Elisa Jensen’s works include Chashama Gallery, Woodward Gallery and Sideshow Gallery in New York and galleries in Denmark. Jensen has won various awards, including Prize for Painting from the National Academy of Art and the John Koch Award for Figurative Painting at the American Academy of Arts and letters. Jensen is a member of the New York Studio School faculty.

Ruth Miller’s solo exhibitions include Lohin Geduld Gallery and a drawing retrospective at New York Studio School that traveled to Jaffe-Friede & Strauss Galleries at Dartmouth College, NH. She received the Emil and Dines Carlsen Still Life Award, the Henry Ward Ranger Purchase Award, among others. She is a member of the New York Studio School faculty.

All evening lectures at the New York Studio School are free and open to the public.
