Join Associate Photo Editor for TIME For KIDS Magazine, TIME Inc., Nataki Alexancer-Hewling, for an afternoon of visual and spoken conversation through innovative multimedia readings. Nataki Alexander-Hewling has worked as a photo professional for over 15 years as Photo Researcher, Editor, and Photographer at Scholastic Inc. and TIME Inc. While at TIME for Kids magazine, Nataki has photographed such notables as Newbery Medal winner Kwame Alexander, and Pharrell Williams. Nataki is a published writer of children’s book reviews as well as poetry for Dialogue newsletter, and currently blogs for Mommypoppins.com, where she keeps New York City parents in the know about the fun and educational family-friendly activities that happen on Staten Island. As part of the Conversation Series, Nataki’s talk will be followed by an open mic.
