Arty Facts: “In Your Dreams” at the Brooklyn Museum

ArtyFacts_20100131_DIG_34_Maria_Martinez_Santos_photo_189x189Children ages 4 to 7 and their parents or caregivers explore the galleries, enjoy a team activity, and make their own art in each 90-minute Arty Facts. Each Sunday’s program is a variation on the monthly theme.  In December, explore the works of artists who bring fantasy and magical ideas to life through their work. Visit the exhibition Coney Island; Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008 or other galleries and create designs inspired by your wildest dreams! Participants meet in the Rubin Lobby at 11am and at 1:30pm. Parents and caregivers are asked not to bring siblings older than seven or younger than four.

There’s a materials fee of $10 (for up to four participants). The materials fee is $5 for Gallery/Studio families and Museum Members at the Family level, and free to Members at the Friend level and above, as well as for Cool Culture families. For groups, try our Special Arty Facts.
