Astoria Historical Society Documentary Screening: The Worker’s Art Coalition of New York City

Inspired by the 1939 World’s Fair unbuilt Worker’s Pavilion, WAC did a large scale installation for the Open Engagement Conference at the Queens Museum in May, 2014. This is a documentary on their effort. After the film, filmmaker Setare Arashloo and the WAC members will discuss the project and issues of concern uniting labor and artists.
