Brian Morton speaks about his recent novel Florence Gordon, a wise and entertaining story about a woman who has lived life on her own terms for 75 defiant and determined years, only to find herself suddenly thrust to the center of her family’s various catastrophes. Morton serves as the Director of the Program in Writing, Sarah Lawrence College, and is the author of the novels The Dylanist, Starting Out in the Evening, A Window Across the River, and Breakable You.
