Beyond the Frozen Zone: Portraits of Post 9/11 Chinatown Walking Tour

Located just 10 blocks north of the World Trade Center, Chinatown was virtually shut down in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks. This neighborhood walk aims to provide a portrait of the ways in which the identity of a community, largely neglected by national media following 9/11, has been shaped by that singular day. It draws upon local stories, news articles and images to show the profound and irrevocable changes Chinatown has undergone over the past 14 years.
