Central Park Nature Walks with Ken Chaya: Fall Foliage Part I – The North Woods

Join Ken Chaya, artist, urban naturalist and creator of the celebrated tree map Central Park Entire, for unique nature walks in Central Park.

Discover obscure footpaths and architectural features, and spot resident and migrant birds (bring binoculars!). Signed maps available at a discount for all attendees.

The northern area of the park is one of the most beautiful to explore. Meet migrant songbirds in the dense canopy along the quiet stream that flows through the Loch. See oaks, maples, elms and hickories ablaze with autumn color.

This tour ends at approximately 12 pm.

Meet at West 108th Street and CPW.

Pre-registration for all tours is required at least 24 hrs in advance. Attendees will be emailed details of the tour — with specific meeting location and additional directions 24 hrs in advance of the tour. All tours happen rain or shine.
