Christopher Wool On His Work

Internationally recognized artist Christopher Wool divides his time between New York City and Marfa, TX. His work was the subject of a major retrospective at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago, 2013/2014. Wool has participated in the Whitney Biennial; Documenta, Kassel; the Lyon Biennial; and the Venice Biennale. Among many honors, he has been named a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome, served as a DAAD Berlin Artist-in-Residence, and received the Wolfgang Hahn Prize Cologne.

A solo show of work by Wool is scheduled May 2 through June 20, 2015 at Luhring Augustine, NY.
