A Conversation with Mark Segal and David Carter

In collaboration with Akashic Books, an independent publishing company, BRIC is hosting a night with gay rights activists Mark Segal and David Carter (author of Stonewall). These inspiring authors will discuss Segal’s new memoir And Then I Danced: Traveling the Road to LGBT Equality, telling the story of one of America’s pioneering LGBT activists and a history of the gay rights movement from one man who has been involved from the start. Segal and Carter will discuss their involvement in this chapter of American history—and what they see for its future.
