Wendy Whelan, the inaugural Lida Orzeck Distinguished Artist-in-Residence, looks back at her 30-year career with the New York City Ballet. She talks frankly about the challenges of performing specially curated projects such as Restless Creature, Hagoromo, and Whelan/Watson: Other Stories, as well as her new collaboration with Brian Brooks, slated to premiere this summer at Jacob’s Pillow. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear one of America’s finest dance artists discuss her experiences during a lifetime of exploration within the dance world.
