Discover Prospect Cemetery

Prospect Cemetery is the oldest family burial ground in Queens, and one of the oldest in New York City, dating from at least 1668.

Architect Daniel Allen will describe the extensive revitalization program that continues today, which preserves and restores the cemetery grounds, historically significant grave markers, the chapel interior, and the façade.

The talk will include a walk to the site so bring comfortable walking shoes.
