The Drawing Center and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council present DrawNow!, a project of The Big Draw. Organized as part of the River to River Festival, this four-part series will be presented on Governors Island on June 23–24 and June 30–July 1 at 2pm each day. Now in its seventh year in New York, The Big Draw series is a celebration of drawing inspired by the wildly popular United Kingdom program of the same name. On Governors Island, visitors of all ages will explore drawing as a way to relate to their city, waterfront, and landscape, through site-specific artist-led projects. FREE – no experience necessary!
