Ethics and the Theater—The Price by Arthur Miller

the priceEthics and the Theater will present a play reading and discussion of The Price by Arthur Miller.

In the attic of a once-fashionable Manhattan town house crammed with once-fashionable furniture, two long-estranged brothers face one another. They have come together to decide how and for how much to sell the furniture, which belonged to their deceased father. But before they can settle on a price for these items, they must come to terms with the price each has paid for the choices and compromises he has made.

Narrator: Bonnie Bean. Susan Horowitz directs. Cast: Jerry Chamlin, Dan Hanson, Betsy Ungar and Tom Weishaar.

After the reading participate in a discussion of the ethical issues of the play led by Betsy Ungar.

Suggested donation $10 includes 6:30pm reception and light refreshments.
