An Evening with Art Critic Jerry Saltz

After being temporarily booted off Facebook for posting art historical images that “didn’t quite mesh with the social networking site’s regulations” (ARTNews), Jerry Saltz, New York magazine’s outrageous and influential art critic, joins us for what’s sure to be a spirited talk.

He’ll address the ways in which artists, critics and curators push the limits of humor, irony, decency and performance as well as the audience’s willingness to tolerate or accept those provocations. There’ll be an “Ask Jerry” segment at the end.

When: Wed., Dec. 9, 2015 at 7:30 pm
Where: The 92nd Street Y, New York
1395 Lexington Ave.
212-415-5500
Price: $32
