Kim Jenkins, Visiting Assistant Professor of Fashion, will sit down with Minh-Ha T. Pham, Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Pratt Institute and author of the blog ‘Threadbared,’ and Yomi Abiola, founder of the global campaign, ‘Stand Up For Fashion,’ to discuss the issue of sociocultural power relations in the fashion industry. This talk is the kickoff event of the series “Fashion Talks: Exploring Fashion and Culture with Kim Jenkins.” This event is free and open to the public; reception to follow.
