Former NFL players Tiki Barber and Bart Scott will weigh in on the state of youth sports in our culture at this special preview screening of Esquire Network’s controversial documentary series, “Friday Night Tykes.” Barber and Scott will join parenting expert, Dr. Robi Ludwig, Psy. D.; Brian Morgan, President of Texas Youth Football Association; and Matt Maranz, founder of 441 Productions and Executive Producer for Friday Night Tykes, for a candid conversation surrounding youth sports, safety, parenting and coaching, moderated by ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap.

Esquire Network’s “Friday Night Tykes” follows the Texas Youth Football Association—one of the most competitive leagues in the country—where 10- and 11-year old players face very adult pressures and concerns, from extreme training drills to rabid fans, all while balancing on-the-field expectations with a typical off-the-field childhood. The supporters of competitive youth football believe they are teaching valuable life lessons about teamwork and dedication, but at what price are we pushing our children to win? The second season of “Friday Night Tykes” (premiering Jan 20, 2015 at 9/8c) marks the return of one of Esquire Network’s most popular and critically-lauded original programs. Join Tiki Barber, Bart Scott and an esteemed panel of experts for the first-look at season two followed by a discussion exploring the timely and provocative issues the documentary series brings to light.
