Of Grammatology Re-Translated | 40th Anniversary Edition: A Tribute

Join us for a panel discussion in commemoration of the publication of the fortieth-anniversary edition of Jacques Derrida’s Of Grammatology. In this edition, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak retranslates this seminal work with greater awareness of Derrida’s legacy, also includes a new Afterword by her which supplements the original Translator’s Preface. Judith Butler has added an introduction and all references have been updated. This new release of Of Grammatology is a milestone in the history of an indispensable work of contemporary critical philosophy.
