Greenwich Village History and Tasting Tour

Stroll through the nooks, crannies and winding side streets of Greenwich Village, as we explore the cultural, literary and presidential history of the Village — from wealthy Victorian neighborhood to 20th-century bohemian center — as well as its personalities, from Washington to Bob Dylan.

Historical stops include New York’s narrowest house and the homes of Mark Twain, Eleanor Roosevelt and Edith Wharton. Along the way, sample food from the community’s Italian district off Bleecker Street.

This tour ends at approximately 12:30 pm.

Meet in front of St. Luke of the Fields Church, Corner of Grove & Hudson Sts.

Pre-registration for all tours is required at least 24 hrs in advance. Attendees will be emailed details of the tour — with specific meeting location and additional directions 24 hrs in advance of the tour. All tours happen rain or shine.
