Help Save the Earth

ken-galeKen Gale
Monica Weiss presides

Save money and help “save the Earth” at the same time.  How we use energy is harmful to the planet, wasteful, and expensive for ourselves even though there have been solutions for decades.  I’ll go into detail on the problems and solutions.  No to poison power (nuclear and fossil fuel), yes to efficiency and renewables (solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, hydrothermal, wave).

Ken Gale is the host and producer of WBAI-FM’s environmental radio show Eco-Logic. He is the founder of the NYC Safe Energy Campaign and author of Chernobyl-on-the-Hudson.
Ken is a long-time environmental activist and birder and active with NYC Grassroots Alliance and NYC Friends of Clearwater.
The New York Society for Ethical Culture is a humanist community dedicated to ethical relationships, social justice, and environmental stewardship. Entry to our 100-year-old building and meeting rooms is wheelchair accessible. For events in our Auditorium and Social Hall, please call ahead  (212-874-5210 x121) and plan to arrive one hour before start time.
