This is a series of brief stories of how two little girls experienced WWII interspersed with songs popular (and written) in each of the war years, 1942-45. Lyric sheets will be passed out so the audience can sing these wonderful songs still so much a part of the Great American Songbook.
Susan Laubach is professional storyteller, actor, and playwright (AEA, SAG-AFTRA, Dramatists Guild). She has written seven books and prior to returning to NYC in 2007, nine of her plays were produced by professional theatres in Baltimore and Cleveland. She holds a BA from College of Notre Dame of MD, and a Masters and Ph.D from the University of Virginia. She is married, and has 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
