Independence Day Lunchtime Lecture

How did New Yorkers celebrate the 4th of July 200 years ago?  In 1826, Washington Square Park, former burial ground of yellow fever victims–became the site  for the city’s rousing Independence Day Golden Jubilee celebration with lots of liquor and song. Bring lunch; coffee and tea is on them! Free with museum admission.
