John Singer Sargent’s Watercolors – Painting Sunlight

Erica Hirshler, Croll Senior Curator of Paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, speaks about Sargent’s masterful technique and the brilliant interplay of light and shadows in his watercolors.

This three-part series will feature a curator, conservator, author, and artist discussing different aspects of Sargent’s life and artistic technique. Tours of the exhibition and watercolor demonstrations will precede and follow the talks. Tickets are $12 when purchased individually, or $30 as a series. Free for Museum Members.
