Kozlova International Ballet Competition

The 6th Annual Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place April 26-30, with 134 dancers from 20 countries around the world, from from Russia to Ecuador, competing for company contracts, dance academy scholarships and monetary awards. A remarkable panel of international judges will be led by Andris Liepa (Russia), and will include Nina Ananiashvili (Georgia), Nikolai Tsiskaridze (Russia), Lawrence Rhodes (USA), Martine Van Hamel (USA), Charles Jude (France), and other international stars.    Daily times vary, and the event will reach an exciting conclusion on April 30 with a 6 PM Awards Ceremony and a 7 PM Gala Performance, featuring medalists and special guests, including Daniel Ulbricht and Erica Pereira of New York City Ballet dancing the Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux in honor of the late Violette Verdy, who was active with VKIBC from its beginning.
