Low Tide Artist Walk with Matthew Jensen

jensenJoin Matthew Jensen on a collection-building walk similar to the ones used to create The Wonder Under, his installation at 99 Plymouth in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Jensen will team up with BBP Horticulture Supervisor Rashid Poulson to lead a collection-building walk along BBP’s East River shoreline. The walk will begin and end at 99 Plymouth in the Main Street section of Brooklyn Bridge Park, where The Wonder Under is currently on view. Along the way, the group will assemble a collection of objects, flora and artifacts found in the park and along the shore. Throughout the walk, Jensen will discuss his site-specific artistic practice and how he uses collection-building, walking and photography to create works about place. Poulson will discuss BBP’s various plantings and the decisions behind the Park’s planting palette.
