Lydia Johnson Dance

Lydia Johnson, “a true original” (The New York Times), presents her company in two world premieres: “What Counts,” set to music by popular jazz trio The Bad Plus; and “Giving Way,” to music by Mark Mellits and Argentian composer Osvaldo Golijov, whose music has inspired other powerful Johnson works. The 10-member ensemble will also perform recent Johnson works to music by Mozart and Bach.
