Math Encounters: “Lewis Carroll in Numberland” with Robin Wilson (evening)

Lewis Carroll scholar and noted mathematician Robin Wilson will give a free presentation on Wednesday, October 7 at MoMath based on his book Lewis Carroll in Numberland: His Fantastical Mathematical Logical Life. His presentation will explore the lesser-known mathematical history of Lewis Carroll, what work he did as a teacher at Oxford University, and the contributions he made to various fields of mathematics as he devised fantastical fictional worlds. Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. for refreshments preceding the presentation. Admission is free; registration required.
