The MTA’s Next Big Thing: Fulton Center
James Carpenter of James Carpenter Design Associates, Mahadev Raman of ARUP, and Vincent Chang of Grimshaw Architects were key players in the design and construction of downtown’s new Fulton Center, which, in its artistry and functionality, rivals the great transportation buildings of the past. The conversation will be moderated by architect Sherida Paulsen, a principal with PKSB. In this lively discussion you’ll hear about the challenges, solutions, and finesse needed to build New York’s newest world class transportation center, and restore the 19th century Corbin building that adjoins it.
