Music Without Borders, A Free Concert of American, German and Sephardic Music

Angelica, a women’s chamber choir directed by Marie Caruso, will present “Music without Borders: Angelica and the Coro Hispano-Alemán Berlin” in New York City and Westchester this July. The collaborative program will feature American, German and Sephardic music. Angelica will sing an American program featuring folk hymns, revival songs, and modern works, including a piece written for Angelica by composer Julie Dolphin. The Coro Hispano-Alemán Berlin will sing German works by Brahms and Mendelssohn. The two choirs will join together to sing Sephardic music from Spain. Our guest artists are Rex Benincasa on percussion and Jerry Celestino on guitar. Please join us for this free hour-long event, which is offered in gratitude for all the support we have received over the years.
