4 & 7pm. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

What kind of geometry can we make with our bodies? Using animations, digital pictures, and sculptures, mathematician and award-winning artist Mike Naylor will share his techniques for making cool shapes from human bodies and using them to explore creative mathematical ideas.

Frieze patterns, polygons, polyhedra, connected graphs, fractals and tessellations will be created using only hands, arms, legs, and torsos, allowing everyone to physically become a part of mathematics.
