A new regular storytelling show throughout New York City about the lives of Muslim Americans living in the area. Many Muslims here come from cultures from all over the globe rich in storytelling traditions and Native Tongue is a way to celebrate that. This show's theme centers around "heartache" as our storytellers share stories about the ones they love - from the bratty siblings in their families to the jilted lovers of their past. The show is co-sponsored by the Islamic Center at New York University and will be hosted by Cyrus McGoldrick, renowned activist and musician.
