Odd Mom Out: Jill Kargman

A hilarious examination of life in New York with author, comedian and star of Bravo’s hit show Odd Mom Out.

Writer/actor Jill Kargman grew up right in Temple Emanu-El’s proverbial backyard: the East 60s, or as she prefers to say, DURITO (Down Under the Roosevelt Island Tram Overpass). And as even the casual observer of her Bravo TV hit Odd Mom Out might surmise, she still lives in the neighborhood, mining the local schools, shuls and Soul Cycles for material that’s at once wickedly funny and deeply affectionate.

With season three going into production this spring, come get to know the series’ hilarious creator and star, who—like Jerry and Larry before her—plays an exaggerated version of herself on TV. Kargman has also written or cowritten a dozen books, the most recent of which, Sprinkle Glitter on My Grave, came out last year.
