This dialogue among artist George Widener, Dr. Valérie Rousseau, curator, art of the self-taught and art brut, and Dr. Joy Hirsch, professor of psychiatry and of neurobiology, Yale School of Medicine, will explore the scientific and artistic aspects of George Widener’s creations, two of which are on view in Self-Taught Genius, as well as his prodigious memory and mathematical abilities.
