Picking Up with Robin Nagle

Robin Nagle is uniquely qualified to talk about the relationship between trash and cities. Author of Picking Up, anthropologist-in-residence for New York’s Department of Sanitation, and a former uniformed sanitation worker, Nagle will chronicle the connected histories of garbage, immigrant labor, public health, and urban reform on the Lower East Side.

This event is at 103 Orchard at the corner of Delancey. It’s free and seating is first-come, first-served. Doors will open at 6pm.
