Public Art Tour: Walking the Battery

Did you know some of NYC’s most iconic art is on view in our public spaces?

Learn more about the art you pass by daily and discover hidden gems you never noticed before. The tour begins with an overview of Battery Park City’s history and newest plans. Then hop on the brand new SeaGlass Carousel, walk on the meditative labyrinth and learn about the global flower-chair competition, the perennial gardens and nearby monuments and public artworks.

This tour ends at approximately 1 pm.

Meet at the Peter Minuit Plaza outside the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.

Pre-registration for all tours is required at least 24 hrs in advance. Attendees will be emailed details of the tour — with specific meeting location and additional directions 24 hrs in advance of the tour. All tours happen rain or shine.
