Read Sing Eat: Open Center Seder with Kirtan Rabbi and Sacred Chow

Kirtan Rabbi and Sacred Chow

Passover is a home- and table-based Jewish holiday which celebrates the transition from bondage to freedom, from leaving the narrow place to finding expansiveness. It also initiates a 50-day period of self-examination and self-reconstruction: A deep, personal practice, we strip ourselves down to nothing (to matzah) and then gain the option to rebuild and become the people we want to be. With wine and a beautiful vegan dinner in the wings, we will begin this process with kabbalistic teachings, chanting, and meditation—making the traditional Story, and the ongoing practice, relevant to our lives now.

When: Mon., Apr. 10, 2017 at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Where: New York Open Center
