Sir Anish Kapoor in Conversation with Sir Norman Rosenthal

Sir Anish Kapoor is one of the most influential sculptors of his generation—best known for his public sculptures that are both adventures in form and feats of engineering.

Among his more famous works is the “Sky Mirror,” a large, concave mirror made of stainless steel facing and reflecting the sky, that has been installed across the globe. From the “walk of compassion” he undertook with Ai Weiwei in support of Syrian refugees, to comparing the current Indian Prime Minister, Narenda Modi, to the Taliban in a Guardian editorial, Kapoor has remained a vocal and passionate defender of free speech and human rights. He is joined in conversation with eminent art historian and curator Sir Norman Rosenthal.
