Slant Rhymes: The Photographs of Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb

photography talks nycPhotographers Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb will present a variety of work during this joint artist talk, featuring photographs from the creative couple’s two recent collaborative books—Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb on Street Photography and the Poetic Image (Aperture, 2014) and Memory City (2014)—as well as work from their first collaboration, Violet Isle: A Duet of Photographs from Cuba (2009). The Webbs will also show work from Alex’s Aperture monograph, The Suffering of Light (Aperture, 2011), and Rebecca’s third book, My Dakota (2012). The talk will be followed by a Q&A led by Aperture senior editor Denise Wolff and a book signing.
