Special Tuesday: The Whitney Special Preview

Join us at The Center for a look at our new Meatpacking District neighbor, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and the highlights of some of their gay and lesbian holdings!

This spring, the Whitney Museum will open its new 220,000-square-foot building at the southern base of the High Line in downtown Manhattan. Kathryn Potts,  Associate Director, Helena Rubinstein Chair of Education, will share a video presentation with information about the new building’s programs and exhibitions, LGBT artist highlights from the museum’s permanent collection, upcoming events and resources and the Whitney’s ongoing collaboration with The Center’s youth program. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
