Spine Out is recurring series where bestselling authors read personal essays on subjects of their choice in an intimate setting.
Author participants include:
- Kass Morgan, the NYT bestselling author of the series The 100
- Danielle Paige, author of the NYT Bestselling books Dorothy Must Die and The Wicked Will Rise
- Joy Peskin, editorial director of many award-winning books at Farrar Strauss Giroux Books for Young Readers
- Seth Rudetsky, Sirius/XM radio host, Broadway expert and author of The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek
- Susan Shapiro, the NYT bestselling author of Five Men Who Broke My Heart and Lighting Up, writing professor at the New School
- Emmy Laybourne, novelist, screenwriter and former character actress, author of the Monument 14 trilogy
The evening’s essays will range from revealing to provocative, and from heartfelt to flat-out funny.
