Spring Skies – A Comet is Coming!

Most comets–those dazzling, mysterious visitors from the depths of space—turn out to be unimpressive sky objects, but in July 2011, astronomers in Hawaii using a special robotic telescope found a comet that shows some promise to put on a good show during March 2013. We can talk about the historical and scientific importance of comets and then, using the Zeiss IX projector, show just where to look for the new Comet PANSTARRS.
