This energetic and very interactive performance introduces the audience to the traditional music from West Africa. Learn about the diverse drums -the doun doun, djembe, and krin – as well as melodic instruments such as the balafon and banjo. Sekouba Dembele is a master drummer from the Ivory Coast. He is joined by Andy Algire an American jazz and percussion player.
