Known as the Ghost Army and armed with truckloads of inflatable tanks, sound-effects records and some artful tricks up their sleeves, they created a traveling road show of deception on the battlefields of Europe, with the German army as their audience. Rick Beyer, a bestselling author and filmmaker, and Elizabeth Sayles, an award-winning illustrator whose father, William Sayles, was a member of the Ghost Army, tell the story of this traveling road show of artists who wielded imagination and bravado to save thousands of American lives.

There will be a book signing, with books available for purchase, following this event.
