Sustainable Development Seminar Series: Ebola and the Politics of Pandemic

Beyond urgent medical and humanitarian consequences and response demands, the growing Ebola crisis has serious implications for governments, the private sector, and public messengers. This session will explore how money, power, and media affectand are affected bypandemics and other disaster events, how each relate to a society’s extent of preparedness or panic, and lessons learned for sustainable development.
