Symposium: Feast of Art Closing Day

symposium-posterAshok Jain Gallery is delighted to announce, Symposium: Feast of Art, a group exhibition of artworks by five artists—Susan Marx, Blair Berger, Liliana Jachadurian, Josefina Temin, and Richard Vaux—at 58 Hester Street, NY, New York. Opening reception on Sunday, March 6, 2pm-6pm, the exhibition is the presentation of paintings and sculptures. Though each artist comes up with unique style and media, the core messages they eager to deliver overlap each other. Artists chose to create art as a way to interact with nature and world they live in. It is a means of expressing and understanding themselves.

The show is for people who are willing to celebrate art. It is invitation to a feast of art. We are inspired from Plato’s philosophical text “Symposium” which explores the various theories of love; “Sym” means together and “Posium” means drinking, eating; feast. We invite you to come together and consume the beauty of art with us. Digest in the elements of colors, lines, form, and much more.
