This one-day international symposium will focus on new archaeological findings, their significance for how we understand China’s Six Dynasties period, and the importance of cross-cultural influence and trade during this transformative era. Featuring scholars, curators and museum directors from China and the United States, the morning session will be in English, and the afternoon session will be in Chinese (with interpretation)

A reception will follow, from 5 to 6pm.
