Five of Japan's leading female ceramic artists, spanning two generations, discuss the impact of French culture on their artistic training and how it has affected their careers at home and abroad. Speakers include ceramists Futamura Yoshimi, Katsumata Chieko, Nagasawa Setsuko, Ogawa Machiko and Sakurai Yasuko. Moderated by Japan Society Gallery Director Joe Earle and Dr. Midori Yoshimoto, Director, the New Jersey City University Gallery.
