Prospect Theater Company will present an exclusive behind-the-scenes discussion as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) Hub’s “Coffee Break Talkback Series” entitled THE MAKING OF COLE PORTER’S NYMPH ERRANT.
The panel will feature Cole Porter’s Nymph Errant adapter/librettist Rob Urbinati, music director James Bassi and noted Cole Porter historian Robert Kimball for an in-depth discussion moderated by Prospect’s Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel.
THE MAKING OF COLE PORTER’S NYMPH ERRANT will explore the life of Cole Porter and give context for this lesser-known work, as well as the specific circumstances of the original 1933 production of Nymph Errantand the developmental process behind Urbinati’s new 2012 adaptation and new script.
